Our Three Course Tasting Menu

At The Conservatory Bar we are wine enthusiasts, this is shown in our dinner menu offerings.

A big thing we always notice with most wine dinners is that each course only features 1 wine, which suggests that there is only 1 wine that pairs to the food. We all have different palates and have different criteria for what is considered a 'good' wine, this is also true for wine and food pairing. Each course of our menu will feature multiple paired wines, so you can experience how different wine styles can still compliment and enhance the flavours of the dish.

This Months Menu:

First Course

Food - Mixed Mushroom Soup - A Blend of Button, Oyster, Porcini, Shiitake and Truffle

Wine - Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir

Second Course

Food - Beef Cheeks, mashed potato, spinach puree and a 24 year old Cabernet jus

Wine - Dolcetto, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon

Third Course

Food - Dark chocolate and Shiraz tart with raspberry cream

Wine - Shiraz, Tawny Port
